Better late than never.
Well actually this episode was ready and on time (intially), but due to the malevolent forces Herotron faces on a constant basis, our episode is up today. In this episode titled Ramblefest, we talk with a friend of ours and fellow creator Chris Miller from Chriscrazyhouse.com about his new project and doing a cool pinup for our lil' old book. We also pepper in many thanks to you beautiful pledgers out there supporting a bunch of guys that just want to share their book that emphasizes that 'it's what's inside that counts.'
Have a listen.

GRWMCast 03
This week we’re lacking a Nathan, but friends Steve and Kelvin show up and try to make up for his absence. We are officially over the hump thanks to you wonderful pledgers out there, but we still have a ways to go. This is technically when the hard work starts, and I can definitely say that we’re going to do our best to hit the finish line running.

The Giant Robot's at 68%!
As of now, the GRWMC project has been active at Kickstarter for only two weeks, and we’ve already earned 68% of our funding! That is awesome.
Guys, Mervyn and I weren’t sure how well this comic would do when we first launched. And to see this kind of response to our work has been amazing.
So many thanks to everyone who’s contributed thus far! We are in your debt, and we can’t wait to get this mad little comic into your hands.

GRWMCast 02
We're back sooner than expected, but note once more that this was recorded at an earlier date and doesn't acknowledge the present pledge progress of the project. This time we dive into some Power Rangers news as it relates to GRWMC's potential sinking or swimming in the public eye. There's also talk of the origins of GRWMC to give you guys an idea of the back story. There's also some color/colour talk in relation to the state of the pages. So please sit back, relax and listen to the soothing tones of our voices, and when you do wake up our book will be in your hands ready for reading (scratch that last part).

GRWMCast 01
In this inaugural Project update podcast thingamabob we say hello, and have a few friends on as well. There are tons of thanks doled out here, and also a bit of talk about the plans going forward and some secrets about the artistic process. If you don't hear your name, or the project funding seems off, it may be because this was recorded a few days before. We also have to definitely thank the amazing classics such as Gigantor, Mighty Orbots (sorry Chris), Gobots (sorry world) and Voltron for inspiring us and having banging themes. So listen at your leisure, and if you like, pass it on.
Have a listen.

GIANT ROBOT WARRIOR MAINTENANCE CREW
There’s a long history of giant robot stories in popular culture, most of which involve massive battles, clean-cut heroes, and evil, over-the-top villains.
Well, that’s not quite what Giant Robot Warrior Maintenance Crew (GRWMC for short) is about.
With GRWMC we deal with the people who operate strictly INSIDE a giant robot, and try to keep its internal machinery from breaking down. And we never actually reveal what the exterior of the robot looks like.
Our story unfolds through the eyes of a young woman named Erica Pratch. She’s new to the Maintenance Crew, and joined up because she wanted to travel and be part of something exciting. But the reality of working inside a giant robot warrior isn’t anything like she expected. This is a high-stress job done in the most ridiculous situations possible, where people routinely snap under the pressure. On top of that the pilots of the robot don’t know what they’re doing, and alien monsters run loose in the service tunnels.
But someone has to keep that giant robot functioning. No matter how much back-breaking, soul-crushing, life-threatening work it might take.
Giant Robot Warrior Maintenance Crew is a three-issue mini-series that should appeal to fans of Spaceballs, Aliens, the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and of course giant robot stories. It’s an idea we’ve been itching to get made for several years now, and the time has finally come to make it happen.
Though while we are working with a small publisher, we still need help to tackle production costs and marketing. Plus, Mervyn will have to turn down some freelance work to make time to finish these pages. A large chunk of the funds will be used to make sure the guy can eat.
So with that in mind we’re offering a great series of rewards for any pledges given, including collected sets of all three issues, original artwork, and even appearances in the story. If you live outside the U.S., please include an extra $5.00 to help cover any shipping and handling involved.
And if you like our project then please take a moment to send our link around, and help spread the word on what GRWMC is all about.
Thanks for your consideration, and we look forward to bringing Giant Robot Warrior Maintenance Crew to you soon.
